Apple Vision Pro is stepping deeper into immersive entertainment with the addition of two exclusive music experiences. The Weeknd: Open Hearts takes fans on a dreamlike journey through a cityscape inspired by downtown Los Angeles. Directed by Anton Tammi, the project pairs surreal visuals with Spatial Audio to create a performance that feels as if the viewer is standing alongside the artist. The experience launched on November 15 through the Apple TV app on Vision Pro, with free in-store demos also available.
Concert for One: A New Music Series
Adding to its catalog, Apple Vision Pro introduced Concert for One on November 22. The series debuted with BRIT Award-winning singer RAYE, who performed an intimate set at London’s Air Studios. Accompanied by a 20-piece orchestra, RAYE delivered a genre-blending performance that combined elements of R&B, jazz, and pop. To complement the immersive show, Apple Music released the session as a Spatial Audio EP, offering fans another way to enjoy the experience.
Immersive Storytelling Redefined
Apple executives have emphasized the Vision Pro’s ability to transform how audiences connect with music and live performances. By merging cinematic visuals with Spatial Audio, the headset delivers an intensity and realism that traditional formats simply cannot replicate. This approach not only enhances the music but also reimagines how stories are told in a performance setting.
Expanding to More Markets
The rollout of these new experiences also aligns with Apple’s effort to make Vision Pro content more widely available. Initially launched in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, content access expanded on November 15 to South Korea and the UAE. Subtitles in multiple languages support international audiences, while in China, select Vision Pro content is distributed through Tencent Video and Migu Video.
